Mark Your Calendar— It's Fall Festival Season in Frankfort

SATURDAY | OCTOBER 10 | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
OPEN SPACE PARK | 800 MAIN STREET | DOWNTOWN FRANKFORT

The day kicks off with the Port City Run ($29 registration), a scenic course beginning and ending at Open Space Park and winding along the Betsie Valley Trail into Elberta. Then the fun really gets going — the Parade & Mutt March, a Craft Fair, live music, pumpkin decorating, our Cornhole Tournament, a Kids' Game Tent, the Beer, Wine & Spirits Tent, and the crowd-favorite Giant Pumpkin Drop. Good old-fashioned small-town fall fun, start to finish!

Frankfort in the fall is something special — crisp lake air off Lake Michigan, the shops and eateries downtown all decked out, and a community that shows up for each other. The Fall Festival is our chance to bring it all together in one weekend: a race, a parade, some friendly cornhole competition, and a whole lot of local spirit. Come for one event or stay for the whole day — either way, we're glad you're here!

Together, the Port City Run and Fall Festival bring significant foot traffic to Main Street businesses and put the Frankfort-Elberta area in front of thousands of visitors during peak fall color season — one more reason this is a weekend you won't want to miss.

The Frankfort Fall Festival is put on by the Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce, and it doesn't happen without community support. Your donation fuels everything from the parade to the cornhole boards to the volunteers who make the whole day possible. Every dollar goes right back into this festival and the community it celebrates.
